Heart Walk Event Shines Bright at Amblebrook
Amblebrook hosted its first American Heart Association Heart Walk on May 17th, 2024, with the theme “Let’s Glow.” This event, focused on promoting heart health and community engagement, brought together residents and guests for a festive evening of walking, socializing, and giving.
The Heart Walk covered a 1.5‑mile route throughout the scenic pathways of Amblebrook and ended with a lively after‑party on the Great Lawn, where participants enjoyed refreshing drinks, fun games, and a lively atmosphere – highlighting the close‑knit community spirit that Amblebrook is known for.
The walk was a resounding success: over 122 participants took part, including four different teams from the Amblebrook community, raising an impressive $10,679.11 for the American Heart Association. “The event showcased the strong sense of community and generosity at Amblebrook,” noted Sara Carbonell, Director of Marketing for Crown Community Development. “It’s truly heart‑warming to witness.”
The event not only emphasized the importance of heart health but also demonstrated Amblebrook’s commitment to fostering a connected and active lifestyle for its residents.
